Jeremy Finney is a Celtic fiddler and tune writer from Halifax, Nova Scotia. His music is an energetic mix of Celtic traditional repertoire and original compositions. Jeremy released his debut solo album "Tip the Bottle" in April 2018 featuring a boatload of original content.
UPDATE! The album has been nominated for Music Nova Scotia's 2018 Traditional/Roots Album of the Year - Presented by Warner Music Canada. WAHOOO!
As a classically trained violinist, Jeremy's playing showcases a rich tone that appeals to a broad audience of music lovers. In recent years Jeremy has performed at the East Coast Music Awards, Celtic Colours, Nova Scotia Music Week, We Day, The Rejigged Festival, The James Patrick Collins Celtic Festival and other festivals across the Maritimes. Jeremy's sound has been described as a cross between Cape Breton legend Jerry Holland and American Irish fiddler Liz Carroll.
